Abstract
274,582. Lowson, H., and Lowson, Ltd., H. Jan. 26, 1927, Rotary sieves for separating coal, minerals, &c. comprise two sections 7, 8 of different sized mesh, a ring 11 connecting the sections, rectangular runners 2 at the ends of the screen and on the ring 11, correspondingly grooved rollers mounted on separate brackets 4 to receive the runners, a central inwardly flanged opening 13 in the cap 9 at the feed end of the screen to receive the delivery mouth 12 of the hopper, and a helical conveying blade 5, the leading end 5a of which is in close proximity to the mouth of the hopper.
