Pneumatic conveyers.-Material such as hay, 'long straw, bound sheaves, &c. is admitted through a hopper 1 provided with a pivoted flap 12 which is balanced by a counterweight 11. The channel 5 leading from the blower 3 to the conduit 2 is splayed slightly at the end projecting into the conduit.
