Hot-air plant.- In a plant in which an air compressor 10 is driven by internal combustion and supplies compressed air to a turbine 11, the motor cylinder of the compressor 10 is supplied with gaseous fuel from a gas producer 12 through a pipe 16 and a heat exchanger 15 in which heat is imparted to the air supplied to the turbine. As shown, the compressor 10 supplies compressed air through pipes 20 to a receiver 14, from which it passes through pipes 13 and heat exchangers 15, 19 to the turbine 11, and the exhaust gases from the motor cylinder escape through a pipe 18 and the heat exchanger 19.
