Abstract

Transformers.-In transformers of the core type having laminated legs which make joint with the yokes over the whole of the end surfaces, the laminations 7 forming the side parts of the legs are arranged at right angles to the laminations 6 forming the centre parts. The sets of laminations are clamped by insulated bolts 9, 10 which pass through triangular bars 8 of insulating material.
