[Class 38 (ii).] In a single phase transformer in which the windings are divided into parts a<1>, a<3>, b<1>, b2 arranged on two core limbs, one of the windings being earthed, both parts of that winding are divided into parallel-connected halves and are interconnected in the manner shown so that the ends adjacent the yokes are at the lowest potential.
