Transformers. - The production of eddy currents by leakage flux entering the walls of transformer casings is avoided by providing the parts of the casing 5 adjacent the windings 1, 2 with a lining in the form of packets 6 of laminated magnetic material so arranged that the leakage flux enters and leaves the packets edgewise of the laminations.
