Abstract
255,478. International General Electric Co., Inc., (Assignees of Allgemeine Elektricitõts Ges.). July 18, 1925, [Convention date]. Transformers. - Relates to disc windings for transformers and the like in which the turns are arranged as described in Specification 254,317 and in which each turn comprises several conductors in parallel, and consists in crossing over the conductors at intervals along the coil to prevent unequal loading of the conductors due to unequal turn diameters. Where two parallel conductors b, c are employed, their positions are interchanged mid-way of the length of the coil, or in the case of a tapped winding, mid-way of each section, and where n conductors employed at least n-1 interchanges are effected.
