Spray carburettors.-Fuel from a float chamber is supplied through a horizontal trough-shaped reservoir f to a longitudinal slot d<1> extending the whole length of the fuel nozzle d and opening into an air inlet chamber e of rectangular crosssection, the passage through the carburettor being controlled by a slide b operated by a pin c which slides over the fuel slot. The slide b may control also secondary air inlet slots in the upper part of the casing a. The fuel nozzle may be rotated to direct the fuel slot towards or away from the air current.
