263,069. Thornycroft & Co., Ltd., J. I., and Donaldson, T. Sept. 14, 1926. Regenerators. - Air heaters 11 traversed by smoke-tubes 11<a> are arranged in the side uptakes 7 of a Yarrow type watertube boiler. The heaters extend the whole or part of the length of the boiler. A partition 11<b> in each heater directs the air forwards and backwards through the heater. The heated air is taken through passages 12, 13 to an air chamber 14 in connection with the liquid fuel burners at the front of the boiler.
