Fixed - chamber apparatus, valve systems for. - A valve apparatus for filling a measure with liquid and discharging it comprises, as shown in Fig. 3, a casing 1 divided into three chambers 17, 2, 3, with spring inlet and outlet valves 8, 9, operated by cams 14, 15 on a shaft 16. Liquid from the pipe 38 passes into the chamber 2, 17 and measuring-funnel 18 when the valve 8 is open and the valve 9 is closed. After moving the shaft 16 to open the valve 9 and close the valve 8, the liquid in the funnel 18 and chamber 17 is drawn off by a pipe 19. A magazine or the like, of such devices may be used. In a modification, the cams operate valves through the medium of levers.
