Rigging and folding longitudinally. -In a machine for creasing and doubling fabrics the triangular creasing block g is movable laterally, and the bar, guide, or winch e adjacent to the block is hinged at e<2>, the block and bar &c. being interconnected so that they can be adjusted simultaneously. The fabric passes round bars c and, if desired, a bar b pivoted at one end and adjustable at the other end on a wedge by links and levers b<2> - - b<5>, then over the bar e and creasing block g, and between the creasing rollers g<1> to the batching &c. mechanism. As shown, the block is fitted with roller bearings h', i<1>, running on guide rods h, i, and carries pins g<1> engaging slots f<1> in plates f carried by the bar e so that the bar e is moved about its pivot e<2> when the block g is moved laterally by means such as the links, levers, and hand wheel j<6>, j<4>, j<3>, j<2>, j<1>.
