Abstract

279,608. Timson, E. A. Sept. 29, 1926. Feeding webs.-A web turning bar or roller for a printing or other machine is mounted at its ends in pivoted arms which are parallel and of equal length so that the bar may be adjusted bodily without altering its angle relatively to the path of the web. The spindle 1 carrying the roller 2 is fixed at its ends to trunnions 4 pivoted in arms 5 which can turn about pillars 7. To' one of the arms 5 is fixed a worm wheel 8 with which meshes a worm 9 on a shaft 10 provided with a hand-wheel 13.
