Abstract

205,017. Goy, A. March 6, 1923. Wet presses; guiding and stretching mechanism.-The sides and the central parts of the wet press felts are stretched by passing the felts over a concave roller 1 and a convex roller 2. The rollers 1, 2 are mounted in arms 3 on a rotatable shaft 4, which may be turned by hand or automatically from a rotating part 6 of the apparatus by ratchet mechanism 9, 10, to bring one or other roller into operation. Three rollers may be used, the third being cylindrical.
