345,597. Folding fabrics. NANTERME, J., 7, Rue Janin, Lyons, France. July 9, 1930, No. 20806. Convention date, Aug. 14, 1929. [Class 42 (ii).] A doubling apparatus consists of two bars 1, 2 relatively fixed and a third bar 3 pivoted at their junction, all being substantially in one plane, and the bars 1, 2 being angularly adjustable relatively to the bar 3 or vice versa. The fabric passes vertically upwards, half of its width being bent 180‹ over the bar 1, the other half being bent 90‹ over the bar 2, then, after passing horizontally, another 90‹ over the bar 3, the doubled fabric passing vertically downwards.
