Abstract

252,689. Boltshauser, H. May 28, 1925, [Convention date]. Condenser systems.-In a plant for condensing steam from a driving turbine 1 comprising a surface condenser 6 and a re-cooler 8 for the cooling water the cooling water leaving the condenser 6 by a pipe 11 is passed through an ejector 12 which serves to withdraw air from the condenser 6 through a pipe 13. The water leaving the ejector passes through a perforated pipe 14 and is cooled by contact with a stream of air drawn by fans 15.
