Sliding-window opening and closing apparatus. -The sliding panel 3 of a window is operated by the lever and roller 13, 14, the lever being actuated by an eccentric pin 12<1> on the pinion 11, and guided by a fixed pin 16 engaging a slot 17 in the lever. The pinion 11 is rotated by a cranked handle 10 and pinion 9.
