Abstract

302,428. Brown, F. L. Oct. 4, 1927. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Vehicle-window opening and closing apparatus.-The handle of a sliding vehicle-window regulator is provided with means for holding the sash in an adjusted position, said means consisting of a rounded projection 10, or spring- pressed pawl, or camoperated projection on the handle adapted to engage apertures &c. in a plate 5 attached to the mounting plate. To disengage the projection, the handle, which is pivoted on a rectangular boss 6 keyed to the spindle, is withdrawn against the action of the spring 8 mounted on the spindle between the nut 9 and washer 12.
