Abstract

249,876. Larsen, W. March 25, 1925, [Convention date]. Seats.-A lubricator for internal-combustion engines and the like comprises a receptacle O from which lubricant is fed, for instance by a wick, into a delivery pipe P which is screwed into a casing C, which latter is screwed into the bottom of the receptacle, and houses a ball valve K movable between seats formed on the lower end of the pipe P and in the casing C. The throw of the valve is regulated by turning the pipe P by means of a key which is inserted in the polygonal upper end of the pipe. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), the valve device is applicable to conduits for other purposes, in which case a short pipe P is secured in adjusted position in the valve casing C by a clamp screw, and the free ends of the pipe and casing are connected to the conduits. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
