Abstract

172,253. Rose, W. F. M. March 14, 1921. Funnels.-A funnel for use for introducing lubricating oil into the crank case of an internalcombustion engine comprises a hopper a of rectangular section and an offset delivery pipe b. The hopper is fitted with a sliding cover c and a strainer d. One side of the hopper is secured to the engine by a bolt passed through an opening e. The end of the delivery pipe b may be tapered.
