Abstract

241,398. Romeyn, J. Nov. 11, 1924. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel. - In an engine having a projection f on the cylinder head which enters a recess g in the piston head at the end of the instroke, the projection is provided with holes i through which the air compressed in the annular space h may enter the recess g. Alternatively the projection may be formed on the piston and enter a recess in the cylinder head. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 214,637, (as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Act).
