Abstract

355,365. Lubricating internal-combustion engines. GREENSLADE, R. J., GREENSLADE, R. G., and GREENSLADE, A. J., 14, Bond Street, Swansea. Nov. 14, 1930, No. 5064. [Class 12 (iii).] The valve gear of an overheadvalve internalcombustion engine, converted from a side-valve engine by replacing the cylinder head, is lubricated by oil mist which rises from the crank - case through a pipe 26. The valve gear is enclosed by a cover 25 and the. crank -case breather is closed.
