Abstract

522,364. Valve accessories. FEIKS, A. Dec. 6, 1938, No. 35555. Convention date, Dec. 6, 1937. [Class 135] A plug-cock is fitted with a locking catch arranged so that the cock and catch are not easily actuated by one hand. In the form shown the cock plug 16 has the manipulating 18 handle at one end and at the other it is fitted with a plate 20 adjustably secured between a pair of nuts 34. The plate, which may be in two parts held together frictionally, is formed with a sleeve 22 adapted to house the locking bolt 28. This bolt is hooked at one end to engage the service pipe under the influence of a spring 30 and at the ' other has a manipulating head 32. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, screw means may replace the spring 30. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
