Gravity-feed lubricating; heating lubricant.- A lubricator comprises a receptacle a provided with a number of spring-pressed valves e located outside the receptacle to seat against the bottom ends of screwed sleeves c, the valve spindles d passing through a guide plate b and through a plate f operated by a rocking arm h. By adjusting the nuts f<2> below the plate f, any one or number of valves may be operated or cut out at will and the travel regulated. The tensions of the springs g are adjusted by nuts g<1>. The device may be used for oiling bricks during the process of manufacture. The oil may be heated by passing steam along the inside of the bottom of the receptacle.
