Lubricant conveyed by mechanical means.- A lubricating device for journal -boxes comprises a roller D mounted in a stirrup C, to the open end of which is secured a pin B on which is nivoted a bolt A secured in one side cf the box, the other end of the stirrup being attached to a coiled spring E attached to a second bolt F secured in the opposite side of the box.
