Abstract

456,361. Valve accessories. SOUPAL, W., 17, Matzelsdorf, near Neulengbach, Austria. May 8, 1935, No. 13591. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Nov. 9, 1935.] [Class 135] [See also Group XXVII] The lockable cock for the fuel conduit of a motor-vehicle engine described in Specification 358,636 is provided with an ignition switch k, l which can be closed only by the key m in a rotary lock cylinder f which is coupled to the insulated rotary disc valve b located in a sleeve d insulating the lock casing e from the valve casing a. The sleeve d and the valve bare both of insulating material. The sleeve d is threaded internally and externally with threads of opposite hands to engage the casings e, a respectively. Two pins g on the cylinder f enter corresponding holes in the valve b, one of the pins contacting a contact member l extending into a recess j in the valve b where it may contact a fixed contact pin k mounted in the casing a and forming a stop for the valve b. The figures show the valve open and the switch closed, the cylinder f being then unlocked. The valve has a passage n and is pressed against a cork packing disc s by springs i as described in Specification 358,636. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also means for preventing the breaking of the ignition circuit due to vibration of the valve. A blade spring in the recess j contacts the pin k and is supported by a pin passing through the valve b into contact with the other pin g. The circuit is thus maintained even though the contacts k, l separate. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
