244,411. Miller Co., (Assignees of Doane, L. C.). Dec. 11, 1924, [Convention date]. Shade and rejector holders; securing shades and reflectors to holders.-In an electric overhead lamp, suitable for mounting on the ceiling of a vehicle, slightly inclined lugs 6 on the neck 5 of a glass shade or reflector 7 engage with inclined surfaces formed between teeth 12, 13 on the ends of lugs 11 formed on the inside wall of a cylindrical holder 16, the shade being held in position by semi-circular resilient springs 4 screwed to the top 3 of the holder. For securing it horizontally within an aperture in an inclined or horizontal ceiling, the holder is provided with an oblique flange 8 or with a horizontal flange 17 as shown in Figs. 1 and 2 respectively.
