Abstract

328,484. Rutherford, A. P. June 4, 1929. Securing globes or the like to holders.-In an electric or other lamp in which a retaining ring for a globe or the like is detachably connected by a bayonet-joint to a fixed ring or the like, the rim or flange of the globe B is held against the rim of the retaining ring A, and a resilient action is imparted between the retaining ring A and the fixed ring C, by means of a resiliently mounted disc or the like F. The disc F may be resilently mounted by means of a spring E attached to it by catches G, and the disc F may also serve as a reflector.
