Abstract
348,912. Lamp shade &c. holders. McKELLAR, A. S. H., 27, Cathcart Street, Greenock, Renfrewshire, and HEGGIE, A., 50, Wellington Street, Glasgow. June 7, 1930, No. 17718. [Class 75 (ii).] Means for attaching a shade or a globe to an electric lamp holder comprises a resilient carrier ring 1 of generally elliptical formation having on opposite sides of the major axis upper in-turned teeth 4 for engagement with the screw threads on the holder 5 and lower outturned flanges 2 for engagement with the upper edge of the shade 3, and at opposite ends of the major axis up-turned lugs 6 which may be pressed inwardly to release the teeth 4 from the holder 5. The flanges 2 are bent back upon themselves as shown in Fig. 3. Specification 305,348, [Class 75 (ii), Lamp chimneys &c.], is referred to.
