Globe holders; securing globes to holders.-In a ships' lamp in which a guard 2 holds a water-tight glass cover 1 in position on a holder carrying a bulb socket 4, the lower part 5 of the holder is screwed or otherwise removably secured to the upper part 3, so that the lower part 5, the globe 1, and the guard 2 may be removed together without separating them, and the lower part 5 replaced by a correspondingly fitted dummy cover.
