Abstract
244,233. General Engineering Co. (Radcliffe), Ltd., and Taylor, S. Nov. 1, 1924. Separators.-A condenser and separator for use in vacuum drying plant comprises a casing containing sets of tubes a of progressively increasing total sectional area through which the vapours withdrawn from the drying-plant pass from an inlet l to an outlet m. The moisture separated from the vapours drains into a chamber f from which it is run periodically into the chamber f<1>. Baffles g are provided for directing the vapours through the tubes and breaking up the particles of moisture in the vapours. Inspection windows h are provided in the chamber f.
