465,438. Separating oil &c. from gases. TILL, F. G. June 3, 1936, No. 15479. Convention date, June 3, 1935. [Class 123 (iii)] In oil &c. separators in which gas is conducted from an inlet 11 upwardy through a series of chambers 3 connected by passages 5 producing a change of velocity, surfaces 6 against the upper part only of which the gas is caused to impinge at high velocity permit of free upward escape of gas and guidance of separated oil along their lower part into a passage from which upward gas flow is excluded and thence into a separate collecting chamber 7.
