Abstract

497,395. Air-filters. WITTEMEIER, H., and WITTEMEIER, C., (trading as DELBAG DEUTSCHE LUFTFILTER-BAUGES., DR. H. WITTEMEIER). June 16, 1937, No. 16693. Convention date, Aug. 10, 1936. [Class 8 (ii)] An air purifier comprises a filter consisting of a series of metal gratings 3 dipping into an oil bath and masked by an adjustable plate, e.g. one made in two parts 7a, 7b, giving a maximum air flow through the filter. The air afterwards passes through a baffle liquid separator 9, 10, and a filter 12 before passing to the outlet. The apparatus may be in three parts, viz. hood 17, filtering means all carried by plate 7b, and bath 1, the whole being detachably yoked together.
