Abstract

Block filters.-A beer filter A is provided with a jacket E through which brine or other cooling liquid is passed from an inlet F to an outlet G. The filter cells H are of slightly less diameter than the chambers so that there is a thin sheet of liquid flowing along the inner wall. The liquid is supplied through an inlet C and filtered liquid is discharged through a central outlet at the bottom.
