Abstract

244,018. Triumph Cycle Co., Ltd., and Parnell, F. G. Aug. 6,1925. Revolving-cylinder pumps; stroke, varying.-A lubricating pump, mounted for instance. on the timing case of a motor-cycle engine, comprises a plunger 4 reciprocated by the action of a face cam 16 thereon and a spring 20, in a cylinder 1 which is rotated by means of an engine-driven worm 13 and controls in its rotation inlet and outlet ports 7, 9. The plunger is rotated with the cylinder by means of a lug 18 and the cam abutment 19 is adjusted radially by an arm 22 with a locking plate 24. An antifriction bearing 29 takes the thrust of the spring.
