Actuating by liquid pressure; single-acting suction -valveless bucket pumps; suction reservoirs. - A lubricator comprises two pistons 5, 8 with the lubricant between them, the piston 5 being operated by the user to force lubricant under low pressure through a valve 13 and tubular plunger 14 to the outlet 16, while the piston 8 is operated by the piston 5 through the lubricant when the resistance closes the valve 13, the lubricant in the chamber 15 being then discharged by the plunger 14 at high pressure. The piston 8 is returned by a spring 19.
