Abstract

923,257. Reciprocating pumps. LUMATIC Ltd. Nov. 9, 1961 [Nov. 10, 1960], No. 38643/60. Class 102(1). A fluid pressure operated lubricating oil pump comprises a plunger 26 with a non-return valve 54, Fig. 2, in the end thereof leading to a bore 49 which terminates in a recess 50 which registers in succession with delivery ports 58, 59, leading to different lubricating points. The plunger is operated by pneumatic or hydraulic pressure applied to a piston 27. An auxiliary manual operating knob 35 is provided. The lubricating oil is supplied to the suction port 30 by a spring loaded piston 18 in a reservoir 4. As the plunger 26 descends the oil is forced through the bore 49 to the recess 50 and thence into the delivery ports 58, 59, in succession.
