Coating bakers' goods.-In a coating-machine wherein biscuits are discharged independently from a magazine on to a belt which carries them into contact with a stencil belt by which the coating- material is applied, a frictional drag is applied to each biscuit as it leaves the magazine 7 whereby the travel of the biscuit is controlled. The drag is applied by a pivoted gravity member 22 which may have a slightly serrated under surface. Specification 239,942 is referred to.
