191,744. Millar, F. A. Jan. 11, 1922, [Convention date]. Setting-appliances for ovens; waffle and like baking-apparatus.-Gauffreplates are delivered from a cutting- apparatus M, over a roller K, on to a conveyer comprising endless chains C and T-sectioned cross-members D on which they are automatically moved transversely to feed them, over rollers L, to a travelling oven 0. The cross-members D are provided with adjustable tappets E which are disposed so as to oscillate a pivoted camended arm H. The arm H is provided with a spring-controlled finger I, which turns down when the cross-members D pass. The finger I engages the plates and causes them to slide transversely either to one side or the other.
