Abstract

795,083. Packaging. SCHNEIDER, E. May 7, 1956 [May 11, 1955], No. 14093/56. Class 94(1). Dough is fed by a roller 3 from a hopper 1 into moulds 2a in a roller 2, excess dough being removed from the roller by a scraper 3a, and the moulded shapes 13 are ejected on to a belt 14 which deposits them in groups on carrier sheets 11 of metal foil which have been fed by a roller 8 from a container 5 on to an endless belt 4. The latter passes over a hotplate 15 whereby the sheets are heated to cause adherence of the shapes 13 which are subsequently pressed against the sheets by a roller 6. The belt 4 conveys the assemblies under a container 7 from which cover sheets 12 of waxed paper are dispensed by a roller 9 and deposits them in stacked formation in a carton 10. The undersurfaces of the shapes 13 may also be heated to facilitate their adherence to the sheets.
