Limbs, artificial.-A stop for limiting the forward movement of the lower member of an artificial leg comprises a metal rod E threaded over the knee pivot pin C and secured at its lower end in a member H fixed to the shin member. The rod E is formed with a shoulder F provided with a cushion G which when the leg is in the straight position bears against a bridge piece J fixed in the upper member of the leg.
