Abstract

235,486. Swain, J. A. Jan. 5, 1935. Artificial legs.-A knee joint provided with a stop 9 to limit the forward movement of the lower leg member is also provided with a resilient stop 11 to limit the backward movement of the lower member. The stop 11 is held in a member 10 secured to the upper leg member and abuts against a member 7 on the lower leg member when this is in its limiting position.
