214,026. Avery, Ltd., W. & T., Greenhough, J., and Sykes, C. M. Feb. 5, 1923. Bearings.-A weigh-bridge or platform weighing-machine is provided with continuous knifeedges 6 mounted in the frame 4 of the machine and carrying a rocker 7 which supports the fulcrum end of the weighbridge lever 14, the said knife-edges being secured to the frame-bracket 5 by a bolt 8 disposed at right-angles to the line of the knife-edge 6. The slot 9, through which the bolt 8 passes, is slightly elongated to allow of longitudinal adjustment of the knife-edge. Passages 15 are cast in the bracket 5 to facilitate the machining of the faces 5a.
