Abstract

Platform machines; weigh-bridges; levers.-In platform weighing machines and weigh-bridges. the fulcrum end of the transfer lever is formed as a jawed member and the jaws are fulcrumed on bearings formed in, or mounted within, separate pockets secured to or cast integral with the frame, the object being to prevent lateral movement of the fulcrum. The transfer lever 5 supporting the usual platform levers 4 is formed at the fulcrum end with jawed sections 5<a> resting on fixed bearing blocks 7. The bearing blocks are located within pockets 8<a>, formed integral with or secured to the, frame 8.
