225,350. Avery, Ltd., W. & T., and Timson, W. Nov. 1, 1923. Counter scales and the like; pendulum-weight apparatus. - In a semi-automatic scale of the kind wherein the two scale pans are mounted on crosses or spiders at opposite ends of the weigh beam and the whole or part of the load is indicated by a pendulously-controlled indicator, one of the crosses or spiders 7 has an integral extension 7<a> directed towards the centre of the scale and having a point connection to a link 10 connected to the pendulum 20 of the indicating mechanism.
