Abstract

Induction motor meters; power meters. -The phase of the pressure flux through the armature is compensated to an extent which decreases at higher frequencies, in order to provide a correction for the increase cf phase displacement of the total pressure flux. The pressure coil b and current coil c are carried by the magnet a, the magnetic circuit of the active flux being completed by a yoke d beneath the disc e, on which yoke is mounted a ring g or a short-circuited coil. The correcting effect of this ring decreases at high frequencies owing to the diminution of the flux through it. A ring f is mounted on the central pole-pieces to compensate the phase of the current flux.
