Abstract

308,576. Landis et Gyr Soc. Anon. March 24, 1928, [Convention date]. Induction motor meters having a threelimbed voltage core and a U-shaped current core are constructed with planes of separation 9 giving direct magnetic contact, the centre limb 2 of the voltage core is mortized at 5 to permit assembly of the former-wound coil 4 and the outer limbs 1, 3 are connected by a bridge-piece with counter-pole 15 extending between the current magnet poles 11, 12. The limb 2 is formed with a pole 17 extending laterally over the current poles and opposite the counter-pole 15. The current poles are provided with adjustable plates 18 for varying the pole area. Copper vanes 20 and iron plates 21 are provided on brackets 24 for regulating the phase and torque respectively.
