[Class 38 (v)] A voltage-regulator for a dynamo having two fieldwindings comprises a pair of windings c responsive to dynamo voltage or current, cores b, a yoke a, and a pair of armatures f magnetically in series and mounted on leaf springs l on a magnetic block d carried by a non-magnetic support e. At a predetermined voltage or current, the armatures are attracted, thereby separating contacts g thereon from contacts h and inserting in each field circuit a resistance which may be wound as a backing coil on the core b. The windings c are preferably connected in series, Fig. 2 (not shown).
