Abstract

Induction motor meters have a counterpole situated on that side of the disc opposite to the series magnet and connected to a point of the meter that is at a magnetic potential opposite to that of the main pole of the shunt magnet. As shown in sectional front view in Fig. 1, and in side view in Fig. 2, the counterpoles 19, 21 on the opposite side of the disc 18 to the poles 16, 17 of the series magnet 14 are connected by a magnetic strip 22 to the core 11 of the shunt magnet by means of lugs 23 and rivets 24.
