Abstract

289,375. Landis et Gyr Soc. Anon. April 25, 1927, [Convention date]. Induction motor meters. - One of two iron elements belonging to the driving system of an induction meter is adjustable relatively to the driving disc by means of differential screws. As shown, the core 2 of the voltage magnet is secured to the frame 1 and the core 3 of the current magnet is adjustable in relation to the driving disc 4. The core 3 is secured by screws 8 to non-magnetic angle-pieces 10 which are pivotally mounted on the frame by screws 11. The differential screws 16 have coarse threads 15 passing through lateral flanges 1<1> of the frame and fine threads 14 engaging with the limbs of the angle-pieces, which are countersunk at 18 to prevent binding. The angle-pieces are further apertured to receive screws 13 which extend through slots 12 in the frame and are provided with spring washers 17. After positioning the current core, the screws 8, 11 and 13 are tightened up.
