Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Induction motor meters. -The core P, Fig. 1, of the shunt magnet has main pole-pieces p', p<2>, arranged opposite to the armature disk R, and auxiliary arms B<1>, B<2> forming a magnetic shunt. The series magnet N is arranged beneath the disk R. The shunt flux traversing the disk may be regulated by adjusting an iron armature A, which may also, in a polyphase meter, be employed for the final adjustment of equilibrium of the several driving- elements. Short-circuited windings C, C<1> are provided either on the arms of the shunt magnet, as shown, or on the arms S<1>, S<2> of the series magnet. Their effect may be adjusted by varying the position of a metal plate F arranged in the air gap between the arms B<1>, B<2>. In a modification, Fig. 4, each polar projection of the shunt magnet has two pole-pieces N, S, the series winding e<1>, e<2> being wound on the poles N. The magnetic circuit is completed by an armature M beneath the disk.
